Recently visited NC State, and has also visited Duke, UNC, ECU, and Virginia....visiting Duke again in late June and also going to a 7-7 with his team at ECU....may go to UNC for camp and wants to get back to Virginia...will visit Clemson and Georgia Tech in June, and Virginia Tech in July. PSU, Clemson, and UNC are the more recent offers...Kareem talks about his NC State visit, and gives his thoughts on a bunch of the schools under consideration.

Clemson is in the running for DE Kareem Martin (6-6 240) of Roanoke Rapids, NC and hopes to be among his final five when he cuts his list in early August. Martin has offers from Clemson, North Carolina, Duke, NC State, Wake Forest, East Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Penn State, Louisville, Stanford and Georgia Tech.
Martin has been to Clemson, NC State, North Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, East Carolina, Virginia and Georgia Tech. He will visit Virginia Tech July 31st and then cut his list shortly after that.
"I'm not sure of any of them yet," Martin said. "I haven't sat down and picked apart each school and compared and contrasted yet."
Martin remains in touch with Clemson recruiter Andre Powell and says his visit to Clemson left him with a favorable impression. "Clemson is a town a lot like Roanoke Rapids," he said. "The school has a nice campus. The football facilities were outstanding, some of the best I've been to. And the stadium was outstanding."
Martin does not claim favorites but he admits to growing up a North Carolina fan. "It would be nice to play for them but I've gotten to know other schools and see what they have to offer and finding the best fit for me," he said.
He said while all his offering schools are working him hard, Clemson, Duke, Virginia and Georgia Tech stand out in that category. He would like to make a decision before the season if possible.
