Joe Paterno and his staff are hard at work on their 2010 recruiting class. But they also are keeping an eye on prospects for the following recruiting season. One prospect bound to pop up on their list is Conner Crowell.
The 6-foot-1.5 and 219-pound Crowell, from Waldorf (Md.) North Point, had a strong sophomore season. Crowell, an inside linebacker, made 74 tackles including five sacks.
Crowell attended the NIKE Football Combine in Baltimore, Md., and the NIKE Football Training Camp in Charlottesville, Va. He was impressive at both stops. In fact, in Baltimore, Crowell had the top SPARQ rating with a 121.02 and ran a 4.55 40-yard dash. His SPARQ rating is the seventh-best turned in nationally among all NIKE camps thus far this offseason. It is the top SPARQ rating by a member of the class of 2011.

They should just skip all the offensive highlights and go straight to his defensive highlights. That's where he looks the best although I did like watching Devon Smith with the ball.

LOL.
Dude, I've coached 15 year-olds with mustaches...hell, full goatees.
A lot of the kids I work with look 3-5 years older than their age. It's more of a curse than a blessing, believe it or not.

By Brian Mohr. Conner attended the Ohio State-USC game and says the atmosphere was amazing....VT is also showing interest and Conner will try to make it out for the NC State game....his coach also says that PSU is interested. This season Conner has 5 rushing touchdowns, 63 tackles on defense, 4 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and one interception through eight games.
