What was up with Barker? He was talking up PSU, then nothing, and Haplea looks to be the guy.

Not so sure on PSU's end. Given the # of offers to TEs so far, it looks like we're only taking one in this class. However, there are some - myself included - that think we need to take two (we're losing two in Quarless and Shuler), especially if Garry Gilliam ends up at DE (yet to be seen).

Grosz is claiming that Barker may be back on campus in June for an unofficial, so we shall see.

Brian - good question.

Kouandjio was rumored to be leaning elsewhere, and since we got in a bit on the later side (MD or UNC), I figure there is some ground to be made up. Should he make an official visit (or another unofficial before the season) I will move him up to "Good."

That being said, I prefer AK over most of our OT prospects because not only is he comparable in talent, but he has the younger brother (Cyrus) that is supposed to be a stud.

PSU42, any updates for the Recruiting Barometer? I realize this is something you're doing as a courtesy to us and you don't need to. I'll tell you what though...it gets me through the recruiting season. I like the way you put it together...And I appreciate that you take the time to do it.

Thanks for the kind words.

I generally wait until we get some big news before making any changes. That, or about once a week or so. Admittedly, I don't update the Barometer on this site as much as I do on Scout/Fight on State, but they are the same.
