Scout.com: ‘Noles Lead for Storm
8/18
By Allen Wallace. Despite not setting any official visits yet, Storm should be ready to make a decision by the end of September...plans to talk with coaches soon and will try to get out on some visits in early September. Attended an FSU camp over the summer and says he felt comfortable...FSU leads over Kentucky, PSU, Ohio State, and Clemson. Storm talks about Ohio State, PSU, Kentucky, and LSU (no longer under consideration).

Yeah, I don't think PSU is going to be a player here.

By Jamie Newberg. Storm says the LSU situation was disappointing, but LSU has to do what is in their best interest, just as he has to do for himself...LSU wants to see him this fall and he still has interest in playing for LSU. Florida State is his leader right now and he talks about FSU...will attend FSU's opening game against Miami (FL). Looking at about 12 schools and will see who recruits him hard this fall...playing time will be an issue and he wants a good school, with good tradition, where he can feel at home.

Storm brewing for State College? -
8/24

At one time, Loganville, Ga., running back Storm Johnson appeared headed to Louisiana State. However, that is not necessarily the case any longer. In fact, it sounds like there is a pretty good chance it is not going to happen.
“I was pretty set on LSU,” Johnson said. “But I’ve opened my recruiting back up. I just felt like I needed to see which school is right for me. If it is meant to be, then it will be.”
When asked if he is still considering LSU, Johnson said, “It depends on if they want to recruit me.”
Johnson said he has not recently spoken with any LSU coaches. However, he has spoken to coaches from some other schools including Penn State, and Johnson is again mentioning the Nittany Lions.

Kurelic’s Comment: The Nittany Lions have a commitment from running back Silas Redd and have targeted Marcus Lattimore as the other running back in this class. However, if Johnson does not commit to Florida State, the Nittany Lions will likely continue to stay in touch.

By Sean Fitz. Storm mentions Florida State, West Virginia, Michigan State, PSU, Kentucky, and Oklahoma....says before he makes any decisions he would like to see PSU for himself.

By Jamie Newberg. Storm has rushed for 125 yards on 25 carries in a loss the first week of his season, and 226 yards with 4 TDs on 25 carries in a win the next....thinks Kentucky has an offense that fits his style, and he will visit this weekend. No longer has a leader but would like to visit PSU, Michigan State, FSU in the near future and has had some contact with Oregon.

Loganville, Ga., running back Storm Johnson is set to make his first official visit this weekend. He will be in Big Ten country.
“I’m going up to Michigan State,” Johnson said. “I’m going up on Saturday morning and coming back on Sunday.”
The 5-foot-11 and 210-pound Johnson, an Under Armour All-American and the No. 6 rated running back, is considering eight schools.
“It’s Miami, Alabama, North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Oregon, Michigan State and Penn State,” Johnson said. “That’s it.”

Kurelic’s Comment: Marcus Lattimore is the guy at the top of the Nittany Lions’ list when it comes to adding another running back to their 2010 recruiting class. However, it is anything but a sure thing Lattimore ends up at Penn State. Right now Johnson and Allen Jones from Youngstown (Ohio) Ursuline are two others on the Penn State radar screen.
