When it comes to recruiting, the Nittany Lions always cast their line in the South Carolina waters. This year is no exception. In fact, they have already offered a scholarship to Bamberg (S.C.) Bamberg-Ehrhardt defensive end Justin Henderson.
The 6-foot-4 and 232-pound Henderson was a starter at tight end his sophomore year and played some outside linebacker. He started at both defensive end and tight end during his junior season.
Henderson made 64 tackles including 10 sacks this past season. He had 17 tackles for loss.

Bamberg (S.C.) Bamberg-Ehrhardt defensive end Justin Henderson plans to be in State College the weekend of April 25 for the Blue and White Spring Game. It is not out of the question Henderson could commit to the Nittany Lions before heading home.
“Coach (Larry) Johnson said when I get up there and he shows me around and I see all the fans, I would want to go there,” Henderson said. “There’s a chance I could commit. I just want to see everything, look around and see what it is like.”
Henderson has scholarship offers from Penn State, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Texas A&M, Colorado, Tulsa, Syracuse, Duke, Middle Tennessee and Appalachia State.

From the Vandy site...says that his visit to Vanderbilt went well...he also said that DL coach Logo officially offered him...says that he wont be able to visit PSU..says he will be visiting Kentucky soon...also he favors PSU and Georgia Tech...

Odd that he favors PSU & GT,
This went from a B-W weekend visit, to brief *speculation* (maybe just not clarified) that he could visit this weekend and for B-W spring game, and now no visit. I'm not overly concerned because it would seem he just has a verbal offer at this point, but that is what intrigued me with his talk that a commit could happen. Still not sure if he is a TE, DE, or a potential DT after some development....his combine #s at one of the scout combines don't jump out.
