Wide receiver Kenny Stills from Encinitas (Calif.) LaCosta Canyon said in late February he wants to leave the West Coast for college. However, with several new scholarship offers, that may no longer be the case.
“I have about 12 or 13 offers now,” Stills said. “USC offered on Wednesday. Other than that I have UCLA, New Mexico State, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Colorado, Boise State, Penn State, Stanford and San Diego State.”
When asked about his offer from the Trojans, Stills said, “We had been in contact, then they finally decided I’m what they needed.”
Stills said he has no favorites and wants to take his official visits before selecting a college.

Still has established himself as one of the premier receivers, not just locally but nationally this spring. He's hearing from just about every school out West and just received an offer from the defending national champions.
"Florida just offered me," Stills said. "I'm pretty hyped on that one and I'm 100% planning to take an official visit there. I was kind of surprised, I wasn't even hearing from Florida and then I talked to Coach Heater and he offered. It's pretty cool, I only talk to the national champs once and they offer.
"Right now, I know I'm going to take official visits to Florida and Penn State and unofficial's to USC and UCLA. I'm hoping more schools outside of the West offer me because I kind of want to see more schools back East. Tennessee was supposed to offer but they never did so we'll see how it plays out."
A few months ago, Stills sounded like a USC lock and even said he might commit on the spot if they offered. The Trojans eventually did offer but the receiver said he now wants to check out his other options.
"They kind of waited a little too long," Still said. "I mean, I still like them a lot but while they waited, it allowed other schools to gain my interest. Don't get me wrong, I still like USC a lot and still planning to camp with them but it's going to be a dogfight now and they're going to have to compete just like every other school that's now recruiting me."
