Scout.com: UGA surprises Maryland wideout
3/30
By Chad Simmons. Talks extensively about UGA, and references AJ Green starting as a true freshman. Still doing his homework on all the schools, and isn't sure if he will commit as early as he had thought, but may still make a commitment prior to his senior year. Location won't matter as his family will support him in his decision.

Farrell claims we are still team to beat, but Georgia is making a big push.

Scout.com: Coxson Has Orange Offer and Decision to Make
4/2
By John Wallpher. Syracuse has offered Adrian and he talks about the tradition of success Syracuse has had and past players such as Donovan McNabb and Marvin Harrison....Michigan and Oregon are also showing a lot of interest...will try to visit all three. May not make PSU's Blue-White spring game as he has recently learned that a spot in the Under Armour All-American game is up for grabs and he has been invited to workout....spoke with coach Paterno for advice.

Of all the people he could go to for advice, I think that choice bodes well for this class. Looks like he just wants the blessing from his future coach before going to the Under Armor workout.

Scout.com: Notre Dame Is Evaluating Coxson
4/5
By Steve Wiltfong. Adrian mentions the ND history and talks about why coaches like his game. He is hearing from Michigan, and has visited PSU, Pittsburgh and Maryland, while claiming no favorites at this point. He must get a good education, and is also looking for somewhere he can play and somewhere that he can possibly make it to the NFL.
Scout.com: Adrian Coxson Profile
4/5
By Steve Wiltfong. Notre Dame has offered.

I don't know if you have a scout sub or not, but it certainly does...I linked it right. Wiltfong is with Irish Eyes and confirmed with Adrian via txt msg that Charlie Weis had offered him Saturday.

The 6-foot-2, 187-pound Coxson already holds scholarship offers from the likes of Georgia, Boston College, Florida, Penn State, West Virginia, Maryland, Pittsburgh and Syracuse. He’d love to add one from Notre Dame."
lol. I just read the entire article and it didn't say anything about a ND offer. Someones wires are crossed. We must be reading different articles by the same author on the same date.

Jake; article may have been a poor choice of words on my part...seeing as how their is an Irish Eyes article dated 4/5, 'Notre Dame Is Evaluating Coxson'. This is just a small blurb above the player profile, which is premium nonetheless, and is titled right on the player profile page (Notre Dame Jumps In the Mix - 4/5). Hope that clears it up a bit.

Thanks. I wasn't trying to be a d!ck.
I'm hoping that with each of these major, national offers....the excitement eventually fades and Coxson comes back to favoring PSU. We're going through this with many of our recruits, Fortt, Royer, Redd, etc.

I think three of the kids you mentioned in this post, know where they want to go.

Yup, feeling pretty good about those three. Coxson seemed really excited about the Florida (verbal?) offer....unless I missed something, he hasn't visited, and I haven't seen where he has set up a visit yet. As I said, I hope the excitement fades and he gets back to PSU. I think we'll land him.
Earlier in the spring, based on watching his highlight tape, I couldn't believe he didn't have better offers. It was only a matter of time.
