From BWI...reportedly has verbal offers from Rutgers, Maryland and Penn State...Ohio State, Michigan State, Pitt and Florida are also showing interest.

South Jersey is loaded this year according to what I've heard.

If we can grab a few from there and the WPIAL (Jones, Hull, etc.), we should be in really good shape with this class.

Not to mention raiding Mooney.

That should make for another year of interesting recruiting battles with RU.

Five years ago I wouldn't have thought I'd ever type that.

To my understanding, Rutgers does not traditionally do very well in South Jersey (see: Carson and Hodges). Obviously, though, they will be involved with many of those prospects, yes.

That started to change a few years ago. Kids like D'Imperio, Johnson, Silvestro, and Young, while maybe not on PSU radar, had very good offer lists. Even with missing on two big targets, this year was a big success in the entire Philadelphia metro area. They hired the OC from Delaware last year to coach receivers and he's done a very good job down there.

From the Rutgers site. Johnson is ranked #2 in the state in both the 100 and 200M. Rutgers, Penn State and UNC are showing the most interest, though the Knights are the only offer so far. Location, team atmosphere and academics will be the deciding factors.
