I bet it was exciting for them to see DWill's KO return where Beachum threw the last block that eliminated the kicker.

Maika Polamalu [Pottsgrove H.S. (PA)], the kid that is related to Troy Polamalu - is he '10 or '11? Obviously he has some ties to both USC & Penn State but I believe his father played for Penn State, Maika lives in PA and has said Penn State is his dream school. So taking that into consideration I would have to imagine we have a good shot at him, and he has a teammate that should get plenty of 1A interest in Terrell Chestnut. If these kids aren't '10 then my apologies...

Those kids you did mention are '11 prospects.
I really how our class might shape up next season with Hull, Kenney, and possibly Jones and Carswell.

Not sure if that was directed at my initial post...the three kids I posted about are all 2010 kids.
Zordich is a 6-3 195 lb junior and wears #15.
Vinopal is a 5-11 180 lb junior and wears #25.
Heard is a 5-11 170 lb junior and wears #5.

It was directed to the poster who suggested Polamalu and Chestnut. Sorry for the confusion.

If all goes well we could have 3-5 early verbals in the 2010 class. It would be nice to get some early momentum (ala OSU's 2009 class).

YES PLEASE! HAH.
WADC, I believe that there was 4 players from CM for the Illinois game, Zach Larson being the 4th. Don't know if he is good or not. Also Jamel Turner was indeed at the Illinois game because I SAW him, there was a contingent from Y Ursuline from the pictures I looked at on FOS...'09/'10 recruits...4 or 5. Darrell Mason, Dale Peterman, Jamel Turner, DeAndre Harris and I think there was a kid who plays DT from Ursuline for the '09 class that may be a recruit.

Good eye! Thanks for spotting him!
Daryll Clark's story is kinda inspirational. Maybe it helps give PSU a shot with him.

Texas will offer a bigger stage for Silas then PSU especially when they where one play away from playing for a National Championship.

Penn State was one play away from playing for a NC as well. Silas has already been to PSU numerous times for camps and such, and he was at the MSU game when PSU won the Big 10 title and got the Rose Bowl bid. Besides he says himself that he grew up a Penn State fan, so I'm not too worried about Texas. Texas will always lock up the state of Texas and I'm sure there is a RB or four that they'll get in-state for '10.
