Woodbury's Kersey changes college pick to Penn State | Philadelphia Inquirer | 01/19/2009
Quote:
Even though there have been published reports that he committed earlier, Kersey said he did not tell the Penn State coaches until yesterday that he would be coming to Happy Valley.

"I just liked everything about the school," Kersey said while driving home from his visit. "It was my first time up here I was so impressed with everything about the school and the football program."

I'll tell you what, with a little bit of coaching and some hard work on kersey's end this kid can be a stud reciever

6'2 175 if he can get his 40 time down about a tenth or .15 he could be a massive threat

Penn State's quest for wide receivers nets fourth recruit - poconorecord.com - The Pocono Record
Quote:
Kersey, a one-time Rutgers commit, made his decision shortly after arriving on campus.

"After the first night, we were sitting there at dinner and (wide receiver coach and recruiting coordinator Mike McQueary) asked me how it was going, and I said, 'It's home," Kersey told BlueWhite Illustrated. "So he said, 'Are you going to come and be a part of the family?' So I said, 'Yeah, I want to be a part of the family.'"
