From BWI...doesn't have a preference as to what position he is recruited to play. PSU has talked about an offer once he reaches his junior year and talks about what he is looking for and how PSU meets all of that criteria.

PSU lock. Love this kid, I hope he goes to the combines and blows up. Possible top 50 player next year. He and Hall give us two very nice legacies.

He ISN'T a legacy. His old man is a professor at PSU. I like PSU's chances here. Between Hull and Kenney, it should be a nice start.

Is he expected to be a WR in college? Or is there a chance he plays somewhere else (DB perhaps)?

Unless our WR recruiting is crazy this year (like a Stokes switch), my guess is that AK would play WR. He could line up in the slot and/or on the outside with his size/speed combo.

It's going to be an exciting '10 & '11 in PA for recruiting, particularly for Penn State.

I hope so. I sent McQueary a note about a kid who's going to be a soph. (2011 recruit) this coming fall at Bishop McDevitt in Harrisburg. Apparently he'll be starting this year (unseating a Sr.-to-be). Heard raves about him since he was in grade school...6'1" 190 lbs. right now. Hopefully he'll give PSU a look if he's as good as advertised.

From the ND site...PSU has verbally offered...UVA has told him to expect one as well once September rolls around. ND wants him to visit and work out. Denies a favorite.

By M Alkire. Alex has written offers from WVU and Stanford. he grew up a penn State fan, but talks about how excited he is in the Stanford and West Virginia offers and how he has a lot of interest in each.

One of the fastest juniors in the state of Pennsylvania attended the Penn State-Oregon State game over the weekend. Wide receiver Alex Kenney (State College, Pa.), who has run the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds, was on hand as the Nittany Lions defeated the Beavers 45-14. Kenney already has a Penn State scholarship offer on the table.

Turning it on
Walt Moody
STATE COLLEGE - When asked about the night State College's Alex Kenney had against his team Cedar Cliff coach Jim Cantafio's reaction was one word - "Wow."
You couldn't say in much better.
Kenney opened the game with an 85-yard punt return for a touchdown, added two more rushing scores and had 377 all-purpose yards as the unbeaten Little Lions (6-0) turned back scrappy Cedar Cliff 38-7 on Homecoming night at Memorial Field.
Kenney, State College's speedy slotback, rushed nine times for 175 yards and two scores, returned three kicks for 193 yards, and caught a pass for nine yards. He also had a 90-yard touchdown run called back because of a penalty well behind the play
