I asked a VT fan about this. They don't want him at a QB, so he's basically holding onto Tennessee as his last chance of staying at QB. Will go to VT otherwise.

Well, I believe PSU offered him as an ATH with the primary position of QB. PSU ain't getting him though.

From the Purdue site...visiting Virginia Tech and Purdue and that will be it for the summer. May decide before the season but may wait. Talks about what interests him in Purdue and says they are even with everyone else that has offered.

QB-DB Antone Exum (6-1 205) of Glen Allen, VA has an offer from USC. Exum is a dual-threat quarterback for his high school and a safetybthat would like an opportunity to play quarterback in college. He says that he's been told that Coach (Steve) Spurrier always allows players an opportunity to fight for a spot at a position of their choice and that intrigues him. "They told me he'll (Spurrier) give you a chance to play where you want. I like that." His junior year, Exum had 980 yards passing and 700 yards rushing. He also threw 13 touchdown passes and ran for 12. On defense he had 3 interceptions. Exum has offers from USC, Virginia Tech, Virginia, West Virginia, Penn State, Maryland, Tennessee, Purdue, Louisville, Colorado, and Wake Forest. He is interested in studying Business and says that will factor into his decision. Ray Rychleski is his USC recruiter and Exum says that he received a verbal offer from Rychleski on a visit to his high school. He has not received a written offer however. He says he hasn't heard from the Gamecocks in a few weeks but that he is still interested in what USC can offer him. He has no leaders at this time. Exum runs a 4.4 40.

I'm a former teammate of Antone's, and he's most likely going to Virginia Tech.
Purdue has an outside chance, but my money is on the Hokies.

From the Oregon site...hearing the most from Penn State and Virginia Tech...also hearing from Oregon, Purdue, Duke, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee and Syracuse. Says he is still open to all schools and talks about his interest in Oregon...also talks about the different spots he is being recruited to play.

Well, I'm Santa Claus. Logic says if he were going to VPI, he would have already committed. They are short on ships this year and might be out. Something tells me his ship has sailed at VPI.
