The kid is bitter. He wanted a PSU offer early and didn't get one. After verballing to UGA, PSU kept in contact - offered him and then not too long after, stopped calling for a while. Now, they are recruiting his buddy Noel again.

It sure is hard to get a good read on Noel. He would be a big get if you can flip him. I'm mentioning that here because I didn't really want to bump his thread and get anyone's hopes up.

I'm not sure what I should think with Jim Noel...definitely a hard read. If it is true that he didn't bring his family along for his PSU official, it'll be interesting to see what the thought process is between mom/dad-jim noel. They could've made camps prior to this at PSU but I'm not sure that they did, speculation on my part. The new BC HC is a PSU'er, so I can't imagine there will be a ton of negative recruiting from either side...gun to my head I'd say he sticks with BC but hearing that it is PSU/BC and not just BC at this point is a positive. Unless he was looking for a little signing day drama, I'd imagine there was nothing holding him back from reaffirming his BC commit after having visited PSU.

What's this about? Stupid BC fans are crowing about it.

Quote:
Once he committed to BC on Dec. 22, Penn State and Vanderbilt followed with offers, and Purdue, Pittsburgh, Alabama, Temple, Villanova and Delaware showed interest. But Coleman felt loyal to BC, since it was the first school to offer a full ride.

Never heard of the kid, and I highly doubt he had a written offer.

Hmmm . . . I see that Coleman is a 6'4" receiver -- perhaps another pawn in PSU's game to get Brown to pull the trigger.
