From the Oregon State site. Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, Stanford, Miami, and Oklahoma have offered. Roh says he has no leader at this time, but that he felt a connection with Oklahoma when he talked to them.

Still trying to figure this one out. Seems like a solid prospect, but we are WAY outside of our recruiting area here.

The only thing I can figure is that he is an all-world player that will eventually blow up. Even still, why would we offer?

I agree that he's probably a stud who'll get tons of offers, but, hey, why not offer him...might just work out. Can't say I mind them spreading offers around the country. For a program with the profile of Penn State it's probably good to stay in front of kids outside of the natural recruiting area. Kind of like strengthening the brand.
The good part is that these kids aren't subject to the constant negativity surrounding the PSU program lately. They might just have a different view of things than those within 300 miles of State College...not a bad thing IMHO.
EDIT: Grammar.
