Harper interested in Oregon, Oregon State - ESPN
Quote:
One of California's top receiver prospects, Josh Harper (Stockton, Calif./ St. Mary's) recently picked up his third scholarship offer and talked about his unofficial visit to Oregon.
Harper is a talented two-way player who earned first-team, all-state underclass honors from CalHiSports.com a year ago. He caught 67 balls for 1,024 yards and 10 touchdowns to go with five picks on defense and is being recruited primarily to play receiver at this time.
Harper picked up his first offer from Nevada followed shortly by Oregon. He attended the Ducks' junior day earlier this month and said he enjoyed his time in Eugene, Ore.
"The visit was good, I had a nice time there," Harper said. "I really enjoyed myself and it was fun meeting the coaches and some of the other recruits who were there. I've been to Oregon before because my brother Matt played there a couple of years ago but it was still nice to see everything for myself.
"The locker room and all their facilities are really nice and overall, it was a good visit. I also got a new offer from Oregon State and was going to try and visit them as well while I was out there but I didn't have enough time so maybe I'll try and get out there another time. I'll be going to the Nike Camp at Stanford this weekend and also have plans to camp with Washington, Cal, USC and maybe UCLA."
