Colorado has already offered James and Brandom thinks once the colleges see more film, the floodgates will open.

"I'm just waiting for one more game," Brandom said. "What I like to do is put the first three games of the season on film and send it out and we've only played two so far. As soon as the film gets out, you're going to see everyone want to offer."

James told us in the summer his top five were USC, UCLA, Cal, Oregon and Arizona. He added it was early and a lot will change depending on what schools step up and show him the most attention during his junior year.

ESPN - West Recruiting Blog

Quote:
Corona (Calif.) running back Jordon James, a member of the 2010 ESPNU 150 Watch List, has added four more scholarship offers and now has five on the table.

James is part of the loaded class of running backs in the California junior class. He was leading the state in rushing when he broke his arm in week five of the season. In four and a half games, he still rushed for 1,132 yards and 10 touchdowns averaging almost nine yards per carry.

Colorado was the first school to offer James and four more schools have followed suit.

"Duke, Arizona and Stanford have offered in writing and Oregon has verbally offered," Panther coach John Brandom said. "Everyone is going to offer Jordon. Schools love his film, he's the kind of player that you just need to three or four plays before you realize you have to offer him."

Brandom said James is out of his cast and working out hard in order to be ready for the spring/summer camp circuit.

"He just ran a 4.59-40 and we do electronic timing here," Brandom said. "That's after not being able to work out much in the last few months because of the cast on his arm. He was running the mid 4.4 range last summer and hopefully by April when the NIKE combine rolls around, he'll be back in that low 4.4 range again.

WR Ambles excited by USC offer - ESPN

Quote:
California is loaded with running backs next year and one player who has seen his stock soar in recent weeks is Corona's (Calif.) Jordon James. The running back said three schools stand out right now.

James only played in five games last season but was leading the state in rushing at the time with 1,135 yards and 11 touchdowns. He's an explosive back and one of the true home run hitters in the entire country.

Oregon and Cal recently offered scholarships joining early offers from Stanford, Duke, Colorado and Arizona.

"Right now, my top three are Colorado, Arizona and Cal," James said. "I'm going to camp with Colorado and I also plan to take my official visits during the football season.

"I'm not sure if I'll take all five but I know I want to visit those three schools for sure. Right now, I'm just working out like crazy and trying to get my speed back. I'm doing a lot of agility work, plyometrics and some weight training as well."

Academically, James is carrying a 3.6 GPA and will attend the SoCal NIKE Camp in April.

RB James hauling in big offers - ESPN

Quote:
"Notre Dame offered me," James said. "To be honest, I don't know a lot about them but I'm very interested in them. Distance for me will play no role at all and I definitely want to check them out and learn more about the school.

"My coach told me that Oklahoma wants me to call them tomorrow and said they could be offering as well. That's another school I like a lot and I'm anxious to find out more about. Things are going great right now and I'm excited to take my official visits and play this out."

Although it's early, James said he has a good idea of what five schools he wants to take visits to in the fall.

"My list could change, but right now, my five visits would be to Arizona, Notre Dame, Florida, Stanford and if they offer, Oklahoma," James said. "I'll also take unofficial visits to UCLA and Cal since they're both in-state schools. That's my top seven right now.

"Like I said, distance will not play a role, I'll go wherever the best fit for me is. I'm just looking for the school where I'll fit in well with the offense, where I can play early and where I'll be comfortable for the next four years of my life."

RB James chooses four to visit - ESPN

Quote:
Corona (Calif.) running back Jordon James has set up four of his official visits, but is still keeping things open for that fifth and final visit.

The Under Amour All-American said he'll visit Florida (Sept. 19), Notre Dame (Oct. 17), Arizona (Nov. 7) and UCLA (Nov. 21).

"That 5th trip could be a few schools, but I haven't decided yet," James said. "I like Washington, Tennessee and a few others but I do want to take all five visits if I can."
