Jeannette's Jordan Hall (3) drives in on Center's Anthony McPherson (23) to add two more points for Jeannette early in the second half of the game on Wednesday, Feb. 13, with Baldwin High School playing host. Jeannette defeated Center 65-42 at the end of regulation to move onto the quarterfinals.

TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Thursday, February 14, 2008
Jeannette basketball coach Jim Nesser was worried about his team's first-round playoff game. He always worries.
Good thing Jordan Hall showed up. The junior guard kick-started the Jeannette offense and defense, and he relaxed his coach by leading the No. 2-seeded Jayhawks to a 65-42 victory against Center in a WPIAL Class AA game at Baldwin.
Hall, who scored nine of his 15 points in the opening quarter, had four steals and 10 assists to lead Jeannette into a quarterfinal-round game against South Fayette on Saturday at a time and site to be determined.
The recipient of many of Hall's passes was Moziah Harris, who led Jeannette with 20 points. Terrelle Pryor had 16 points and 15 rebounds, and Shaw Sunder had nine second-half points.

By Jardy...talks about the fact that he would have probably committed to OSU even if Pryor hadn't ended up in Columbus.

Thursday, November 27, 2008
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Quote:
JORDAN HALL
The skinny: Not the biggest of backs, but a solidly built runner who can ran past or through a defender, Hall ran for more than 1,000 yards and scored 24 times to lead Jeannette to the WPIAL Class AA semifinals for the third consecutive season. He had 1,374 yards rushing in the two previous seasons. He also is an excellent defensive player.
College: Committed to Ohio State

Final PA Top 50 Signing Week Special: The state’s top prospects
By Chris Dokish
As always, this list was compiled after extensive interviews with college and high school coaches, as well as scouts and players. Special thanks to Joe Butler, founder of Metro Index Scouting and originator of the NFL scouting service, BLESTO, for his input.
This is not a list of the 50 best high school players in the state this year; it is a list of the 50 best college prospects in the state.
Quote:
Very Good Prospect
20. Jordan Hall, Jeannette HS (Jeannette) RB- Once the second banana to superstar Terrelle Pryor, he took over as a senior and performed extremely well. Very good speed and athleticism. Only 5'9" and 180 pounds so it's not known if he can ever be an every down back. Even if he isn't, he would be a nice change of pace back, receiving threat, and return man. Chose to join Pryor at OHIOSTATE, with other offers coming from Pitt, Penn State, Michigan and Notre Dame. Bottom line: Competition at OhioState is extremely tough, but he has the ability to eventually contribute due to his speed, athleticism, and pure football ability.
