Corey says tOSU, USC, and ND stood out during the evaluation period. He plans to wait and see how the schools do this fall before narrowing things down.

By A Jardy at the Ohio State site. Adams plans to narrow down things by the end of summer and says the Buckeyes are very high on his list. The fact that the coaches talk with him so much, and that they were in on him early has made a big impact on Corey.

Corey has offers from Nebraska, Ohio State, Florida, Michigan, Arizona, Arizona State, Stanford, USC and others.
“Arizona Junior Day’s was good I liked how they play defense.” said Adams, “The Arizona coaches understand they need to do better and I have an opportunity to play early.”
“I like Arizona’s coaching staff and their facilities are nice.” he said
“I use to hear from USC coaches when they were able to call recruits. I have not heard from them since. I need to contact them.” said Adams
“Arizona State Junior Day’s was cool. Me and a friend went there. We saw Arizona State’s facilities and the academic staff. They are in the process to build a new practice field and weight room.” he said
“I have not heard from Nebraska much and I haven’t called their coaches. Nebraska is known for their defense.” said Adams
“I’m going to narrow it down pretty soon to five or six schools. I will probably plan my officials from that list. I’m looking for the total package a good education and an opportunity to play early. I’m starting to look at depth charts and see where I can come in and play.” he said
“Last year I played defensive line, this year I will be moved to defensive end. I did play some defensive end in middle school.” said Adams
“It changes day to day if I want to stay close to home. I don’t have any favorites now.” he said
“Coaches said they like my presents on the field put pressure to the quarterback.”

Ohio State. Southern California. And Arizona State. In no particular order.
Scottsdale Saguaro defensive lineman Corey Adams this week narrowed it down to those three colleges, after his coach John Sanders was being bombarded by calls from major college coaches.
To curtail some of the madness, Sanders told Adams he's going to have to get it down. Basically, so Sanders can have a life outside of fielding inquiries for Adams this summer.
The brinking point came Sunday, when a reporter from Ohio called Sanders to let him know that Ohio State already had 24 commitments for the Class of 2009.
Sanders got with Adams to let him know he can't wait much longer.
"I tried to explain to Corey I want some answers, because soon it's going to be out of your hands," Sanders said. "They're going to be full at Ohio State. They're going to be full at USC.
"Because he's the local kid, Arizona State won't do anything without telling him first."
Sanders said the original plan was for Adams to announce his choice in January at the Under Armour All-American Bowl in Orlando, Fla., because Sanders will be the secondary coach and Adams will be a partcipant.
"We thought it would be fun," Sanders said. "But his hand might be forced (to do it earlier).
"The way recruiting is going on now, it's nuts. Colleges are pulling offers."

Corey Adams considers Under Armour game announcement
ESPN 150 Watch List defensive tackle Corey Adams told affiliate Web site WeAreSC.com he might commit on January 4th, 2009 at the second annual Under Armour All-America Game.
"Yeah, that's something coach (John) Sanders and I have discussed, since he'll be coaching at that game too. But we'll see what happens."
As previously stated, Adams' top three schools are USC, Ohio State and Arizona State.
He said of the group, "I don't have a leader yet, but I really like the schools I've chosen. USC and Ohio State have great tradition, and always bring in great talent, as well as send players to the pros. And I know the coaches at Arizona State very well. They are an up and coming program that is doing a lot of good things."
