Top Ohio Scorers

Stevie Taylor 5"8 150 lbs
Stevie is a super quick, waterbug type point guard. His speed and quickness allow him to be good in transition but his size is sometimes a hinderance when being guarded physically. Offensively Stevie is very good at creating scoring opportunities for both himself and his teammates. He is a nice creative passer. He is such a good scorer that he sometimes looks to score himself more than create for others but he can do both equally well. Stevie can shoot out to 20 feet effectively when his feet are set. When he puts the ball on the floor he is generally going all the way to the basket, though he does have a decent 15 foot and in pull up. Defensively he struggles some with stronger opponents. He often reaches or goes for steals instead of playing solid defense.

Travis Trice 5"10 160 lbs
Travis is an excellent shooter and a solid point guard. Offensively he has a good basketball IQ. He is a coach's son (Wayne High School coach Travis Trice). Trice is a great shooter with range to 22 feet. He is best when his feet are set and he is able to let it go. He is ok off the dribble but is not much of a creator. He also needs to improve his passing skills. Defensively he understands the concepts but sometimes can struggle in space versus quicker opponents. As he grows and gets bigger he should improve defensively. He also needs to improve his ball handling and quickness so he can be more effective getting into the lane. Travis is a good solid prospect and will have a very good career at the next level

Devon Cottrell 6"6
No Evaluation

Paul Honigford 6"9 220 lbs
Paul is a high post 4 man right now. He has solid skills and is a very good jump shooter to 20 feet. Offensively he is an excellent "pick and pop" player. He can set screens and pop out for jump shots. His shot is a little low and slow but that should fix itself in time. He is a solid basketball athelete and is a decent rebounder. He definitely needs to get stronger in order to be more effective inside. He can be muscled out of the paint at times. Paul needs to make sure he stays aggressive and assertive at all times. He can some times disappear during games and can even appear soft. Once he improves his body and gains strength he will improve his stock as a college prospect.

Honorable Mentioned Players
Stephen Holt 6"4 OR, Terrell Lewis 5"11 WA, Mike Boyd 5"8 OH
