Scout.com: Early October Decision?
Quote:
By Allen Wallace
National Recruiting Editor
Posted Sep 3, 2007
Lamaar Thomas, ranked as the No. 28 running back in the country by Scout.com, will be visiting Maryland on Sept. 15 for the West Virginia game. He says the Terps are recruiting him the hardest. "It's home," he said. "It's only 20 minutes away and it would be great to be close, but it's not like it's a big thing...They said they want me at running back and that they'd want me in open space..."

"At one point in time Ohio State was my number one choice, but now I really feel they are all about even," Thomas said. "I could see myself playing at any of them and am comfortable at all three of these school."

Big names in East may be ready to commit - USATODAY.com

Fort Washington (Md.) Friendly athlete Lamaar Thomas is taking an official visit to Ohio State on Sept. 21, and the Buckeyes are the team to beat. If he doesn't commit on his trip, he'll visit Illinois the following weekend. Maryland is a dark horse, but a commitment on his first official trip to Columbus would not be a shocker.
