Boyd Discloses Final 15

WR Jheranie Boyd (6-3 185) of Gastonia, NC Tuesday night revealed the 15 schools that have made his first cut. Boyd said USC, Clemson, NC State, North Carolina, Oregon, Southern Cal, Ohio State, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Virginia Tech and Missouri had made his final list. Boyd said he will cut his list down to ten by the end of June and to seven before his season. "Everyone is even," Boyd said. He talked on the phone Monday with USC head coach Steve Spurrier and receivers coach Steve Spurrier Jr., and with Clemson receiver coach Dabo Swinney. Boyd visited USC last Saturday. He said he plans to take visits this summer to Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Alabama and Ohio State. And he will camp at North Carolina and possibly Southern Cal.

From the Clemson site. Boyd said that Clemson has always been at the top, and last weeks camp on enforced that. He was going to wait to decide, but now says he may push things up.

By Farrell...Boyd's handler says he is in the process of making some visits...plant to visit Auburn, Florida, Florida State and possibly Virginia Tech.

From the VT site...talks about his visit to Balcksburg this past weekend...talks about what he likes about Virginia Tech. Visiting Miami, Florida and Florida State this week and may try to make it to Ohio State as well.

From the Auburn site...talks about his visit to Auburn last week and plans on returning for the LSU game. Talks about how similar the Auburn offense is to his high school's offense.

From Duck Sports Authority....Has cut his list to 10: Florida, Clemson, Florida State, Auburn, North Carolina, NC State, Missouri, Illinois, Oregon & Southern Cal. Says Florida & Clemson are his top 2 and will use officials on USC, Oregon, Missouri, Illinois and one more.
