When the Parkland High football team needed a big play in the postseason, it turned to Jaleel Clark.
The Trojans basketball team figures that if it worked on the gridiron, it can also work on the court.
With his team flailing away and in danger of an early exit from the District 11 Class 4A tournament on Thursday night, Clark put his buddies on his back.
He scored 23 points, including 17 straight for his team down the stretch, as Parkland rallied for a 57-52 overtime win over visiting Emmaus in a first-round game.

''Jaleel just more or less said, 'I'm not going to let us lose, and I'm going to get every rebound, get my hands on every ball and I'm going to score,''' said Emmaus coach Andy Stephens. ''That's the type of player he is and the kind of potential he has.''

From BWI...says PSU is at the top of his list after his visit. Will likely visit Pitt in May and Missouri in June. Minnesota and UConn are his most recent offers.
