From O&B News...talks about junior day and Champaign, where he came away with an offer from the Illini. Northwestern, Purdue and Vanderbilt have also offered. Father was on the 1983 Illinois Rose Bowl team.

From the AZ site...first set of offers was from Northwestern, Purdue, and Vanderbilt and then received offers from Illinois, Arizona, Northern Illinois and Stanford. Is planning to see ND soon and has been to Wisconsin. Talks about his interset in Arizona and talks about the Illinois camp last summer.

Ward was in attendance for the Badgers first spring practice.

"(The University of Minnesota) didn't really compare," UW Kicker Taylor Mehlhaff said. "I loved the atmosphere here. It was pretty easy to cross (Minnesota) off the list. I wanted to play at the highest level possible but I also wanted to have that college atmosphere."

From the Missouri site...the Tigers offered last month and since then he has been trying to learn more about the school. Says he has also talked frequently with Illinois, Northwestern, Iowa, Wisconsin, Arizona and Michigan State.

"I haven't narrowed it down yet," Patrick Ward said. "I'm gonna do that soon though because I plan on committing before the season starts. I don't want to have to worry about it during the year.
