An Elite 11 ballboy this summer, the junior is also getting early interest from Arizona, Stanford, Iowa and Notre Dame, where he took an unofficial this past weekend to watch the Irish defeat Stanford.
Through six games so far this fall Whitmer has led Downers Grove South to a 4-2 record, passing for 827 yards and seven touchdowns while also rushing for two scores.

By A Trieu. Whitmer had a good time at Iowa's junior day, and mentions Cincinnati, Ole Miss, Illinois and Arizona as other schools he would like to get to soon. Location will not be a factor, but how comfortable he is with the school and system is.

By A Trieu. Arizona has offered. Whitmer is excited about the offer and says that he has been in contact with the Wildcats since his sopmore year. Aside from his offers, he is also interested in Iowa, Cincinnati, Northwestern, Ole MIss, Georgia and Notre Dame.
