Arby Fields Profile

Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) Los Osos running back Arby Fields added another offer.

Previously, Washington State and Northwestern had offered Fields.
This weekend, a Mountain West school did the same.
"Arby was offered by Colorado State," said Los Osos head coach Tom Martinez. During his junior year, Fields ran for 1,144 yards and 17 touchdowns, had 18 receptions for 262 yards and a touchdown and defensively added 34 tackles. He also returned a kickoff 99 yards for a score.

5-foot-8, 187-pound running back Arby Fields has committed to sign with the Wildcats according to high school coach Tom Martinez, ESPN's Tom Luginbill reports.

"Northwestern has been where I've been leaning for a while now and the visit sealed the deal. I had a feeling I might commit while I was out there and I really had a great time and knew that was the place for me," Fields told ESPN's Greg Biggins.

"I'm close with a lot of the coaches there, I love the offense and I think I could play early. I also like the academics a lot and I think it's a great overall fit for me."

Additionally, Fields may take his abilities to the diamond and double as a baseball player at Northwestern.
