From the UNC site. Underwood took trips to Duke, North Carolina, and NC State this weekend. He got to meet coaches at the UNC, and talk with Ohio natives on the roster (which he says helps UNC's chances). He has no leader.

Bryan offers from Nebraska, Boston College, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Texas Tech and others.
“Boston College tells me I can fi in their system well. The coaches said they (Boston College) will always have a good quarterback and not to worry about it. They run a pro style offense.” said Underwood
“Boston College coaches tell me about education system and the history of their players.”
“Texas Tech has a great offense, the spread all they do is pass which I like. Texas Tech sends me letters now and then.” he said.
“Nebraska said I have the opportunity to play early. They talk to me about education and life, about players that use to play there.”
“Most coaches want me to return kicks and play the slot. They say I’m fast and I have a second gear where I can run past defenders.” said Underwood
“Michigan tells me how good I would be in their offense (spread).” he said, “They said I’m a super high schools player with lots of speed. I do like Coach Rodriguez.”
“Michigan State coaches were here last spring.” Said Underwood, “They talked to me how a player like me that can be drafted.”
“Wisconsin has slowed down their interest in me. Cincinnati and Boston College are recruiting me the hardest. I haven’t narrowed it down yet. I’m on schedule to qualify.”

ESPN - 2009 a down year for Ohio offensive skill prospects - Football Recruiting
Quote:
Recruit under the radar
Brian Underwood, wide receiver
Cleveland Heights HS
Verbal commitment: NC State
This guy could be a real steal for the Wolfpack and a nice snag away from the Big Ten and Big East conferences. Underwood is explosive and shows cat-like quickness, but he is undersized. He is the type of player you want to get in space, involve him in the screen and reverse elements of the offense and utilize his speed and quickness as a punt and kick return man.
As much as we have seen an upswing in the big wide receivers dominating the college landscape, guys like Underwood do seem to be sneaking up and making a splash because of the spread offense. Smaller players are more capable of making people miss and creating mismatches in space, so we would expect guys under 6-0 to continue to have a role, if not an increased one.
Underwood is also a good route runner and if utilized creatively would be a nice addition to any offensive scheme.

From the NC State site. Bryan loved everything about NC State, and said it felt like home. The staff told him that they loved his speed and that he will be used in the slot.
