Burnett is going to be flying all over the country to find the right school. Colorado, Michigan, Arizona St., and Missouri are already planned visits. He's contemplating adding Cal, Wisconsin, and Arkansas to that list. He wants to decide before his senior season.

Missouri, Colorado, and Arizona State lead over Wisconsin, Michigan, Arkansas and Cal. He is up to 25 offers, and all his favorites have offered except Michigan, whom he expects to offer if/when he sees the campus.

From the Badger site. Wants to make visits to the seven schools mentioned above. Believes he will end up playing out of state. Basically more of the same. Would like to make a decision by July.

Burnett stopped at Colorado this past weekend. Came away impressed, but as planned, will still visit Mizzou, Michigan, and ASU. UW, Cal, and Arkansas may also receive visits.

AREA SCENE
Quote:
The Missouri football team has picked up its first out-of-state verbal commitment, and it came from a familiar place. Brayden Burnett, a defensive lineman from Southlake, Texas, Carroll High School - alma mater of MU senior quarterback Chase Daniel - gave MU a commitment for 2009 after visiting Columbia over the weekend, Rivals.com reported.
Burnett, who has lined up mostly at defensive end for the Texas powerhouse program and played last season at 6-foot-3, 245 pounds, has collected more than 20 scholarship offers and was reportedly also considering Arizona State, California, Colorado, Kansas and Wisconsin, among others.
The Tigers have two Southlake Carroll players on their current roster: Daniel and sophomore Mike Prince, a backup offensive tackle. Burnett, an all-district selection last year with 12 sacks, gives MU 10 commitments for next year’s recruiting class. The other nine are high school players from Missouri.
