Spoke to DeMatha Coach Bill McGregor, who reports that Maryland has offered scholarships to three of his players: running back Marcus Coker (6-1, 225), OT Ari Kouandjio (6-5, 300) and DB Michael Coley (6-0, 195).
"What happened was we got our highlight DVDs done and I took two of them up there last week and they offered Coker and Ari," McGregor said. "I took up film of four more yesterday and they offered Coley and they're looking at the others right now."
McGregor said it is the first scholarship offer for each player.
MD, KSU, Iowa, and Wake have offered, along with Michigan, his latest. KSU and Michigan want him at LB, the others RB. BC, UGA, and PSU are also involved.
