Then, it became the Manasseh Garner show.

Garner first hauled in a 28-yard scoring pass from Henri Chapman to push the Bulls' lead to 14-3. After leaving the game momentarily for some leg cramps, he came back with a vengeance.

Garner caught a 10-yard scoring pass and added a 15-yard run, both fourth quarter scores, to put the game out of reach.

"Manasseh is a good kid who got stuck behind a lot of talented seniors last year," Brashear coach Rick Murphy said.

In all, Garner, just a sophomore, finished with three catches for 46 yards and the two touchdowns, and the 15-yard scoring run, which was his only carry of the game.

Brashear quarterback Henri Chatman also leads the league with 1,291 yards passing, and Manasseh Garner is third with 586 yards receiving.

"Manasseh ... he's as good a receiver as there is in the area," Murphy said. "As far as Henri, our offensive coordinator Sean Schofield works with him constantly."

Garner caught two touchdown passes from Chatman and ran for another score when Brashear beat Perry, 28-3, in the opening week of the season. But Perry, now 9-1, hasn't lost since.
