Interest at this early juncture is coming from major schools such as Wisconsin, Alabama, UCLA, Minnesota, and Indiana. Will visit several camps to procure those offers when spring comes around. Grew up a Badger fan.

Eggen enjoys Wisconsin junior day - ESPN

Quote:
Offensive lineman Matt Eggen (La Crosse, Wis./Logan) is one of the top prospects in the state of Wisconsin. The 6-foot-5 and 290-pound Eggen has been a starter at offensive tackle since the beginning of his sophomore season.

Eggen, who plays left tackle, allowed just one sack in 10 games during his junior season. He helped lead Logan to an 8-2 record. Eggen is an outstanding run blocker who paved the way for two Logan running backs to each rush for close to 600 yards.

Eggen attended Wisconsin's junior day last weekend. He did not land a scholarship offer from the Badgers, but that could happen sometime in the next few months.

"It was fun," Eggen said of the Badgers junior day. "I talked to the coaches. They said I'm one of their top prospects. They don't have a lot of scholarships to give out this year. But they talked about offering me at their (football) camp this summer."

In addition to Wisconsin, Eggen has also been to a junior day at Michigan State. He names Wisconsin, Michigan State, Minnesota and Indiana as schools he is interested in.

Eggen has a scholarship offer from North Dakota State.
