Recaps his visit to Colorado, a state which he has family living there. Plans on making the trip out to WVU and possibly UCLA. Also mentions his excitement over the Minnesota offer.

"I didn't think it was a big deal, the de-commitment," former Gopher verbal David Gilreath said. "I think this was the best decision of my life."
"(The University of Minnesota) didn't really compare," UW Kicker Taylor Mehlhaff said. "I loved the atmosphere here. It was pretty easy to cross (Minnesota) off the list. I wanted to play at the highest level possible but I also wanted to have that college atmosphere."

From the ASU site. Garin has no favorites and is just trying to check out as many schools as possible. Distance will not be a factor, but team chemistry and how the coaches develop players will be.

From the ASU site. Garrin loved the coaches and facilities at Arizona State, and says after seeing everything ASU is "near the top" and that he plans on taking an official visit. Purdue offered Matt a spot last week as well.

From the Minnesota site...dispels the rumor that he had committed to Minnesota and will be keeping an eye on the Golden Gophers this year. Will take visits to Arizona State, UCLA, Minnesota and West Virginia, with the fifth visit most likely going to Purdue.

The Gophers received oral commitments from two of the state's top players Sunday with three-star Minneapolis Washburn tight end Ra'Shede Hageman and three-star Eastview defensive end Matt Garin, according to someone close to the situation.
Hageman and Garin were two of 13 visitors for Minnesota at Saturday's game against the Wolverines. It was the biggest recruiting weekend for the program in years.
