This guy grows on you the more you watch him and while he may not be flashy or spectacular in any particular area, he is unbelievably productive and consistent and he absolutely catches everything. He has good size with long legs and arms. Is gangly and lean, but pretty elusive and shifty for his size. He has great hands, focus and body control and catches everything thrown his way. Has no fear over the middle and really works to get open. Is extremely competitive in traffic and very tough. He is better versus zone than he is man coverage. Has a nice feel for settling into soft spots and is a very patient route runner over the middle of the field. Is at his best in the slot where he can use his size and feel for coverage to manipulate the short and intermediate zones of the field. Has a very wide catch radius and will extend in traffic with no regard for his body. The issue with Keise is he lacks great burst and top end speed. He runs adequately, but not with quick-twitch explosiveness. Is shifty and can make the first defender miss after the catch, but may find it harder to separate at the next level than he does here. Lacks great surge off the line and takes a while to hit top gear which is why he is better versus zone and in the slot than he is outside matched up one-on-one. Although he catches everything, he can also be a body catcher. Overall, Keise is a guy that can make a roster better because you know he will make the play when called upon. His size, competitiveness and athleticism are all attractive traits.
