Eric Stephens, a 5-foot-8, 177-pound running back from Mansfield (TX) Timberview, has committed to Minnesota, according to sources close to the program. Stephens visited Minnesota earlier this week and made the decision after returning home. Stephens had had 202 carries for 1,906 yards and 23 touchdowns last season.
