From the A&M site. LSU, Minnesota, and Texas A&M are Hasan's final three schools. LSU leads, and he will make his choice later this spring.

ESPN Lipscomb shining in Shepard's shadow -ESPN Rise FOOTBALL

Hasan Lipscomb misses New Orleans. He was displaced by Hurricane Katrina a few years ago but speaks fondly of the city known as the Big Easy.
Mostly, Lipscomb misses a heaping pot of New Orleans seafood gumbo laced with Tabasco sauce. He was born and reared in the city that relishes Dixieland jazz. But he prefers another music style that originated in New Orleans: bounce music, a high-energy hip-hop sound that features a dual-musician call-and-response pattern.
"New Orleans is about culture, Cajun food and Mardi Gras; it's a unique place," said Lipscomb, a 5-foot-11, 205-pound senior running back. "You can never forget where you come from."

The Rams had highlight after highlight as they blew past Cypress Falls 68-21 on Thursday night at the Berry Center in a nationally televised game.
Quarterback Russell Shepard’s performance was reminiscent of last year’s 51-27 win, when he carried the ball 20 times for 341 yards and five touchdowns.
On Thursday, he put some stellar passing in the mix as he went a perfect 11-for-11 for 175 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed 13 times for 121 yards and two touchdowns.
The Rams also saw explosive play from running back Hasan Lipscomb, who carried the ball 19 times for 251 yards and four touchdowns.

Rivals.com Football Recruiting - From the Road: Houston heats up
Quote:
RB HASAN LIPSCOMB (5-11/201), Houston Cypress Ridge
COMMITTED TO: Minnesota
PERFORMANCE: He had 20 carries for 174 yards and three touchdowns in a 47-0 win over Houston Jersey Village.
STRENGTHS: He may have a reputation as an explosive perimeter runner but Lipscomb is really best between the tackles for tough yards. He runs through arm tackles and is physical. He has good acceleration and sees his blockers well.
WEAKNESSES: He is a short-stepper, which helps him in short-yardage situations and tight spaces, but he is not an elite speed guy. He got caught from behind on one long run. - B.S.
