Visited Temple and UConn over the weekend, picking up offers from both. Planning to camp at PSU over the summer. Favors UConn right now, but grew up a PSU fan and definitely wants to go there.

Steve Greene Profile
Bishop Carroll is a small Class A school located in Ebensburg, Pa., but head coach Craig Sponsky has had a number of players move on and play football at the next level. Over the past three years he has had two highly recruited players including Jeff Minemyer a tight end who is now at Rutgers and his class of 2009 pupil Steve Greene. According to Sponsky his talented interior lineman recently added his fifth scholarship offer. "Steve Greene was offered a scholarship today by Central Florida," Sponsky said. "This is his fifth scholarship offer including Minnesota, Connecticut, Temple and Delaware."

Quote:
Steve Greene, Bishop Carroll's 6-foot-5, 311-pound all-state guard, has landed a Division I scholarship with a BCS college.
But he's staying a Husky.
Greene made a verbal commitment to UConn on Tuesday, according to a Rivals.com Internet site.
''I mean, for a while now I've been narrowing it down, because I knew that was where I really wanted to go,'' Greene told UConnReport.com. ''The only question I had about it was gameday atmosphere, and I went up there on Saturday for the visit for [the game with] Cincinnati. It was a great atmosphere.''
