The Shaw visit fiasco is well-known...I'll not discuss it here except to say that he will be coming to Penn State the weekend of July 27th.
PSU fans are hopeful that he will end up committing that weekend, as it was rumored that he was likely to do so during his originally scheduled visit.

I truly believe that we could have had a verbal commitment from Shaw on two separate occasions...now most Penn State fans are just hopeful that he likes Penn State as a football program as much as he says. I know I will be pretty upset if a self-proclaimed fan of Penn State, doesn't end up in the Blue & White playing RB...RB is a position of need and if we can't get an Ohio player with no Ohio St. offer we should probably just stop recruiting Ohio.

Did not give a verbal commitment (as expected). Looks like he is still keeping his options open.
Disappointing, but not altogether surprising, considering all that has transpired. Looks like we'll have to wait for an official visit to seal the deal.
I guess Shaw doesn't like spaghetti?
