Floyd visted Michigan over the weekend and enjoyed his visit. He was impressed with the coaches and may visit again for the Ohio State game.

More of the same; but where the previous article quotes Floyd's father, this one quotes Floyd himself. He enjoyed his visit and met some Michigan verbal commitments.

Floyd talks about his interest in Maryland. He says Tennessee leads slightly over Maryland, Michigan, N.C. State, and South Carolina.

From TheWolverine...is a soft verbal to Tennessee but is said to be favoring Tennessee, NC State and Michigan over Auburn and others. Was scheduled to visit UM on 12/14 but those plans have been put on hold.

From SCPrep. Floyd says that he is now officially down to Tennessee and Michigan, but mentions that with Georgia Tech offering this week, he will head down to check it out. J.T. will visit both Michigan and Tennessee in the coming weeks.

DB J. T. Floyd (6-0 185) of JL Mann made his official visit to Georgia Tech over the weekend. "Everything was great," Floyd said. "The city of Atlanta speaks for itself. When coach (Dave) Wommack (defensive coordinator) was at USC, he recruited me my sophomore year, so it was great seeing him again." Floyd said he also met with Tech's new head coach Paul Johnson, and Johnson is scheduled for an in home visit Thursday. Floyd will visit Michigan this weekend and then will visit Tennessee on the 25th. Those two remain out front "because I've known them longer." Floyd said he remains a soft commitment to Tennessee.

From the Michigan site.

As the new Michigan football coaching staff hits the road to speak with future recruits for this year and next year, they are making quite an impression with the recruits and their parents. South Carolina DB J.T. Floyd had a visit from new-U-M DB coach Tony Gibson Wed. night. J.T. told GBW how it went.

From TheWolverine...recaps his official to UM and hints at where he might be leaning.
Can't ask for too much more of a favorable update than that...

"I would definitely say Michigan fans will be happy, but I'm going to leave it at that," Floyd said after returning home. "I want to talk it over with my parents first, take this last visit (to Tennessee) and get everything squared away."

Maybe headed to Michigan? Excellent news. We need cornerbacks.

Redshirted this past year.
Could see some time in the defensive backfield, particularly at corner with UM's depth chart.
