It's football recruiting, so it's never too early to start throwing around names as we consider who the next great prospects are. One name to keep a close eye on for the Class of 2011 is a familiar one.
Safety/receiver Karlos Williams (Davenport, Fla./Ridge Community), the younger brother of Florida State linebacker Vince Williams, is one of the top sophomore prospects in the Southeast. He is a big play waiting to happen on both sides of the ball and has excellent size and change-of-direction ability.
He's already a prospect many colleges will want to keep on their lists, even though he has two seasons and some change remaining at the high school level.
Vince Williams was one of the hardest-working high school players in his class. If his younger brother even approaches the work ethic Vince had, then he could end up being an elite, national-level recruit.
It's too early to say for sure who the top players in the 2011 class will end up being, but Karlos Williams certainly is one to keep an eye on.
