Miami (Fla.) Northwestern is not slowing down in producing major college prospects and the 2010 class looks to be loaded with talent once again. While speed is often the name of the game in Miami, Torrian Wilson (6-4/315), is providing the size at Northwestern. The 2010 prospect made a name for himself with some strong summer camps and his play this fall has earned him three major offers.
"I have offers from the University of Miami, Stanford and UCLA," Wilson said. "The Miami offer came in around the third game of the season and Stanford and UCLA came later, about two or three weeks ago."
As is the case with many Miami natives, Wilson was particularly excited about picking up the offer from the hometown Hurricanes.

JC Shurburtt: South Florida's best show up for UA Miami Combine - ESPN
Quote:
Chandler's teammate, offensive lineman Torrian Wilson, also was impressive during the one-on-one portion of the event and was one of the better prospects at his position at the event.
"At first, I wasn't sure about the one-on-ones," Wilson said. "Then when I got in there and really started to get going, I pretty much dominated everyone I went against."
The ESPNU 150 watch list prospect, who ran the 40-yard dash in 5.2 seconds on Sunday but says his goal is to push it down to 5.0 seconds or faster, is a tough, athletic, cerebral offensive lineman. Wilson currently has Miami on top, with Stanford in second.

Torrian Wilson - College Football Recruiting 2010 - ESPN
Quote:
Four-star offensive guard Torrian Wilson (Miami/Northwestern) revealed his latest group of top schools to ESPN affiliate Web site InsideTheU.com.
"I've narrowed it down to three with Miami, Stanford, and Michigan," Wilson said. "Everyone is still in the mix, I'm just trying to cut things down a little bit but all the schools still have a shot."
Additionally, Wilson does not have a definite timetable for his announcement, "It's still a possibility that I could commit before the season starts but I have to see what my parents say. I could commit before but if not, then I will make my decision sometime during the season."
Several other programs including Alabama, Florida International, Tennessee, LSU, UCLA, South Carolina and Georgia Tech have also offered.
