From TheWolverine...talks about how he considered ending the process recently but was advised to push forward from the ND coaches. Visiting ND officially on 9/27. Also considering officials to Michigan, Colorado and Ohio State.

Assets: Evans has excellent speed and really can create space with his powerful body.
What was most impressive at camp: He seems to take to coaching very well and is eager to learn.
Areas for improvement: He is a tad stiff and should work on his lateral movement. Sometimes fights the ball when trying to make a catch. He really reminds me of a young Laveranues Coles.
On the Hoof: He must have less than 8 percent body fat and is really yoked up for a receiver.

From the UCLA site. Evans enjoyed his visit to UCLA for the Tennessee game and loved the play calling of Chow. He is down to UCLA, USC, Notre Dame, Colorado and Michigan.

By Huffman...made a soft verbal to USC...will still take his scheduled trip to ND and is not ruling anyone out. Final decision will come in January.

No. 3-rated wide receiver Shaquelle Evans does not consider himself a soft commit to USC any longer and now favors Notre Dame, ESPN's Greg Biggins reports.
Evans said, "Right now, I'm really feeling Notre Dame. I had a great trip back there and that's where I feel most comfortable. It's hard to explain but I just felt so at home at Notre Dame and I've never felt that way around any other school."
Additionally, he mentioned the other schools still in the mix, "I still like USC a lot and I was at their game with Oregon last weekend. They have a great school but I'm leaning to Notre Dame right now. I may take a few more official visits and if I do, I'm looking at Michigan, Colorado and Oregon. Nothing is set though and I would say it's 50-50 whether or not I take more trips."
Evans finished by stating he does not have a definitive timeline for his decision and that distance from home will not be the factor he initially thought it would be.

From the ND site...announcing at the UAAFB ceremony on 11/7...finalists appear to be USC and ND.
