Vlad says that his official offer from tOSU will be coming next Wednesday per Coach Haynes. He is very excited about it and will be attending the Spring Game. UConn has offered, Louisville has said an offer is coming, and USF and Michigan are starting to recruit him harder.

Manny Navarro's Spring Tour, Part 5 - 05/24/2008 - MiamiHerald.com
Quote:
Emielen, whom Davis describes as a ferocious hitter, had 95 tackles and three interceptions last season for the Colonels. Emielen, who has a 3.5 GPA, listed Ohio State, USC, South Florida, North Carolina and Stanford as the schools he's most interested in.
''Vlad, like Omar, is still just really developing,'' Davis said. ``He was a running back as a freshman. I think he has the potential to be just like [current Gator] Major Wright.''

Vlad says tOSU is his leader but other schools are recruiting him hard. He feels a bond with the Ohio State staff and compares OSU and Michigan to each other. Also talks about South Carolina, USC, Stanford, Wisconsin, South Florida and West Virginia.
