"I'm still pretty open right now," Jonathan Scott said. "I probably won't have a top five until the end of summer and just before my season starts. Scott is considering South Carolina, LSU and Michigan, among others. He says he isn't sure if he'll attend any camps this summer, but has already had a chance to visit South Carolina. "They really showed me a lot of love there," Scott said.

from the Michigan site. Scott says he is open, but that Michigan and South Carolina are recruiting him the hardest right now. He says it would be fun to go against brother James Scott, who is at Ohio State. Location, coaching, and how he fits into the defense will all be important factors.

Sporting News
Quote:
Jonathan Scott is already worn out by the recruiting process. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound DB from Daytona Beach (Fla.) Seabreeze told Sporting News Today that he already knows four of the schools he’ll take official visits to this fall.
“I don’t want to wait much longer,” Scott told SN Today. “I’m ready to get it over with. I’m going to visit Michigan, South Carolina, Florida State and LSU, and I don’t know about any others yet, but I might take them. I don’t have any dates set up yet, though.”
This fall, Scott will occupy a safety spot for the Sandcrabs, but will also catch some passes as a WR—a position he excelled in this summer at 7-on-7 passing competitions. Last year, on a senior-laden team, Scott had 40 tackles, broke up eight passes and had an interception.
Along with his four leaders, schools he reports scholarship offers from, he also said he has offers from schools like Auburn, Alabama, West Virginia, Ole Miss and Illinois. His older brothers Kenny (Georgia Tech) and James (Ohio State) were also Division I-A signees in the past. Jonathan Scott is listed as a three-star prospect by two recruiting services.
