from the MSU site. Norman says he was very excited about his Michigan State offer, and that the fans were a big reason he committed. Another reason for the early verbal was the family feeling he got while at MSU. He says that he is 100% sold on Michigan State and will not change his mind.

From the MSU site. Norman was at the Ohio State camp this weekend, and felt as though he fine-tuned some LB skills. He has been recruiting guys like Benton and Gordon to come play at Michigan State with him.

At one time, Detroit Renaissance's Punisher wasn't all that tough.

The books were definitely getting the best of him.

Coach Antonio Watts had to get tough with Christian Norman several years ago after his freshman football player didn't do very well one semester.

He asked Norman what he wanted to do with his life. Norman said he wanted to play college football. He told him that wouldn't happen with bad grades.

Problem solved.

Norman is carrying a 3.0 grade-point average, and he has grown into a gregarious, confident young man.

But something tells us opponents don't look at Norman as gregarious.

So The Punisher T-shirt seems appropriate.
