From the ND site. Miles had a good visit to Notre Dame, and felt he fit in well there. He will be at Boston College for their junior day next weekend.

Panthers lead for Dieffenbach
Miles Dieffenbach (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) is one of the top offensive line prospects in the Keystone State. The 6-4, 285-pounder has been a varsity starter since his freshman season. Dieffenbach has played center and offensive tackle.
Dieffenbach' father George Dieffenbach has been the tennis coach at Pitt for over 30 years, and Miles has a scholarship offer from the Panthers.
"Pitt is probably my favorite right now, but I want to see what else is out there," Miles said. "My dad is open about it. He says it is my decision. But (his father being the tennis coach) is somewhat a factor. I've been around Pitt all my life."
Miles has visited Pitt many times. He attended a junior day at Notre Dame during the winter as well as one at Boston College. He attended two games at Penn State this past season.
In addition to those schools, Dieffenbach said he is also interested in Virginia, Michigan State, Syracuse and Northwestern. He plans to attend camps this summer at most of the schools on his list.

Penn State lands top WPIAL lineman

Penn State lands top WPIAL lineman
Tuesday, June 02, 2009
By Mike White, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Fox Chapel High School's Miles Dieffenbach, one of the top linemen in WPIAL football, has decided to attend Penn State.
Dieffenbach, a 6-foot-5, 285-pound junior, made a verbal commitment to Penn State yesterday while on a visit to the university with his parents. He will play either guard or center for the Nittany Lions.
High school football players can't sign a binding letter of intent with a college until February of their senior years. But they can accept a scholarship and make a verbal commitment at any time. Dieffenbach is the fourth player from the WPIAL class of 2010 to commit to Penn State.
Dieffenbach said he chose Penn State over Pitt, although he also had scholarship offers from Syracuse, Virginia, Florida State, South Florida, Boston College, Northwestern and Minnesota.
"I had been up there for the Michigan State and Indiana games last year," Dieffenbach said. "But all I saw then was the stadium and it was unbelievable. I visited with my dad a few weeks ago and then my mom came up this time. When I saw the place the last two times, it was totally different. The campus, the facilities, everything was unbelievable."
