From the MSU site. Howard says that if he would commit today, it would be to Michigan State. He is aware that they are running out of room in the class, but thinks a spot will be there when he makes his choice. He also has offers and interest in Virginia Tech and Arizona State.

Visalia (Calif.) College of the Sequoias WR Jamar Howard has given his word to Cincinnati, Rivals.com reported. The JUCO star, who stands 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, also had scholarship offers from Michigan State, California, Indiana and Minnesota, among others, and also had taken an official visit to Memphis.

Howard played his senior year at Cincinnati Withrow, so it is somewhat of a homecoming. He committed to Minnesota out of high school, but had to go the JUCO route.

"I've been waiting to see what they (UC) thought about me," Howard told Rivals.com. "They told me (Saturday) that they really wanted me back so I told them I wanted to commit. I just wanted to come home and play for Cincinnati.
