LB Matt Coffee (5-11 210) of Fort Walton Beach, FL has not taken any visits to any schools for any reasons so far, and he's got nothing planned for the immediate future. He has offers from USC, Ole Miss and NC State, and he's also hearing from Clemson, Florida, Florida State and Alabama. Coffee said he talked recently with USC recruiter Shane Beamer and will try to visit USC this summer. He also talked recently with Clemson recruiter Vic Koenning and was told the Tigers will be down to scout him this spring. Coffee said he does not have a favorite.

One of Florida's top linebackers received an offer from the University of Mississippi recently which pushes his offer list to three.

Illinois and South Carolina have also offered.

Matt had 120 tackles and three sacks with two fumble recoveries

USC remains very interested in LB Matt Coffee (5-11 210) of Fort Walton Beach, FL. "USC wants me to come up there," Coffee said. "Coach Beamer came and watched me practice last week. They are recruiting me the hardest. I talk to coach Beamer every couple of weeks." Coffee said he'll visit USC this summer. He has offers from the Gamecocks, Ole Miss, NC State, Maryland, Illinois, Southern Miss, Marshall, Iowa State and Michigan State. He's also hearing from Clemson, Florida, Florida State and Alabama. He does not claim a favorite.
