Glenn is very fast, and if he was a little better of a prospect, he would definantly be top notch quality of a player. I dont expect him to recieve any Big Ten offers, but I think he will tear it up in the MAC.

Maybe Glen projects not as a RB but as a FB instead. Imagine packing 15 or so more pounds on that frame and possessing that spead. He'd make a load and a half. I imagine the biggies will be keeping an eye on him as his season progresses and monitoring his academic progress. You just do not find that physical size and speed set very often.

DETROIT -- Scatbacks are a dime-a-dozen in the Detroit Public School League. Conversely, a back like Detroit Denby's Glenn Winston, who possesses both size (6-foot-1, 215 pounds) and speed (4.4 seconds, 40-yard dash), are a rare commodity.

Detroit Osborn got an up-close look at that combination on Friday.

Winston rushed for 174 yards and four touchdowns and returned Denby's first kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown in 32-20 victory over Osborn in the first round of the Division 1 Michigan High School Athletic Association district playoffs.
