Jones rushed for 10 touchdowns and threw for two more as a junior. He also intercepted five passes from his cornerback position. He was named first-team All-Conference at cornerback.

Jones was named honorable mention All-Combine in San Antonio at the Army All-American Combine in January of 2009.

He reports a 3.4 core GPA and will be taking the SAT in March of 2009.
