Eguae is a physical defensive prospect with a tough name. He will play some defensive end and tackle in high school, but will need to be a fulltime end at the college level. He has good size for the end position, and is not an interior player. He has a solid get-off, but needs to be more consistent. He is a physical player at the point of attack. He does a very adequate job of bringing his hands and needs to create more separation. He can struggle to hold his ground and this is why he is not a defensive tackle. He will try and anchor, but can get overextended and be pushed off the ball. He is at his best when he can move on the snap of the ball. He does a good job of slanting into a gap and crossing a blockers face. He will step, rip, and re-directed up-field. If he can get to half-a-man he can muscle his way up-field, but needs to be more active with his weapons. Needs to watch his pad level as he will play high. Displays adequate short-area change-of-direction skills when he gets in the backfield. Has a good motor. Displays adequate speed in pursuit and needs to keep working on the angles he takes in pursuit. He is a solid wrap-up tackler. As a pass rusher he will take an up-field charge. Needs to work on developing pass rush moves and once again using his hands to help him work past a blocker and more quickly turn the corner. Eguae flashes some upside. Good sized kid who needs to keep developing his game.

Mansfield (Tex.) Summit DE Nosa Eguae has committed to Colorado, and the recent win over nationally ranked West Virginia this week helped, Rivals.com reported. The 6-foot-3, 235-pound lineman also reported scholarship offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Louisville, Minnesota and Purdue.
"It was a great experience," Eguae told Rivals.com. "I loved everything about it. I just love the place. I actually committed to them ... right after the game. ... I talked to some of the other coaches and I just told them that I was committing to CU."
