Chad committed to Indiana, becoming the third prospect to verbal to the Hoosiers today. The other two commitments were Illinois offensive linemen Will Matte and Marc Damisch.
Indiana University's football recruiting class of 2008 increased to 10 members as three more players gave their oral commitments. Included in the group was Chad Sherer, a 6-foot, 192-pound tailback/linebacker from Hamilton Heights High School. Sherer had received interest from Illinois, Notre Dame and Wisconsin, according to rivals.com.
The other commitments came from offensive linemen from Illinois: Will Matte, a 6-2, 205-pound guard from Wheaton Warrenville South; and Marc Damisch, a 6-6, 275-pound tackle from Buffalo Grove.

He says he is solid to Indiana, but several other prospects haven't sounded so solid with the coaches future up in the air.
